StartTech has been from the start not just one of the first players in the Greek startup and VC scenes (as the hipsters say, we did it “before it was cool”), but also a strong promoter of entrepreneurship values, pushing for startup and VC friendly legislation both in Greece and globally.
StartTech CEO and co-founder Dimitris Tsingos, for example, has represented thousands of European youth entrepreneurs at past G20 YEA summits, in his capacity as President of YES for Europe (the European confederation of young entrepreneurs and one of the founding organisations of G20 YEA). And though Dimitris has since passed the YES for Europe torch to (Italian serial entrepreneur) Luca Donelli, we’re still very much involved in its pro-entrepreneurship efforts.
This year’s G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance 2016 China Summit will be held in Beijing, from September 8-10, 2016, focusing on the theme of “Disruptive Innovation. Smart Entrepreneurship”. The official EU delegation being lead by YES for Europe Vice President Przemysław Grzywa.
The summit will run parallel to the Global Innovator Conference (GIC), one of
China’s most engaging platform for innovators, to which G20 YEA delegates will enjoy complimentary full access.
Przemysław Grzywa encourages all young entrepreneurs to join the official EU delegation to China run by YES for Europe by applying through this webpage.
It’s a great opportunity for entrepreneurs interested in and ready to enter the Chinese market, but also to help promote entrepreneurship friendly initiatives and policies in general.
More information for the G20 YEA Summit China, as well as the registration form is available here. The registration fee is set to $369 and covers access to all sessions and lunches. There will also be a pre-Summit focusing on B2B that will take place in Shanghai on September 6, with limited participation on a “first come first served” basis and a separate $99 registration fee.
