Istanbul-based INNOGATE are welcoming applications from fledgling Greek startups to apply for their intensive 5-week acceleration program. For those looking to expand Stateside, the program offers help with global competitive ability.

Who are INNOGATE?
First off, you may be wondering who INNOGATE are. Supported by the Ministry of Development and Istanbul Development Agency, our friends across the Aegean offer access to international connections. On top of that, they provide guidance on market penetration, business modeling and strategy development opportunities. Combined with this, they also provide training, mentoring, counseling, as well as access to the right people/institutions.
The program aims to prepare you for a US market entry. It consists of:
- 1-month preparation camp in Istanbul (with consultants, mentors and trainers from the USA)
- 1-month comprehensive boot camp in San Francisco and Chicago/New York
- A total of 6-months field support with offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Chicago, New York, Boulder, Denver, Phoenix, and Seattle.
The overall objective is to help you establish your C-corp in the USA, and get traction in the US market. Then, you can use this as evidence to receive further investment to scale in the USA, before going global.
The program has been in place for three years, and a total of 40 firms have already been accelerated in five cycles. A total of 23 of these businesses are now actively selling their products in the USA. Another 17 have used this experience to expand their business at home in Turkey. Or grow in other countries like Canada, Germany or UAE.
